Celine had time to waggle her legs, and learn how to climb and explore. She did well and was developing at a normal pace, I assume. Meanwhile little lazy loser leech used his exploratime time to slurp. He showed interest in nothing else. He perished anyway from utter greed. The lazy bum.

It was truly remarkable that she fed him at all. She implemented rules because she wasn't obligated to feed and had to put him on a schedule. He couldn't drink freely like a normal infant. It's sad but how it goes. No. A simple phone call couldn't save him. Wildlife organizations stated years away that they can not take in anymore park monkeys. No, the vo's couldn't take him in. That is illegal and illogical. It isn't a kitten. They have special needs and diets. U can not just grab him out the forest & take him home to family & pets. They don't stay tiny long. They soon become demanding, destructive, aggressive, unruly, and too much. That's why a high percentage are dumped or chained. They don't make the ideal pet. These vo's know this and are realistic not emotional. They are video operators not rescue operators. But for some reason some would like them to bear the burden because they are in a pubic park filming. Some thing any one can. Not just anyone can take in a wild animal. That needs a well thought out plan. A normal home can not sustain a wild animal. U would think people would know this but i guess emotions trump rationale. His mom sealed his fate when she didn't rundown the tree to save him . And when she rejected him in her presence again. It's not Calvin's fault. It isn't Casi's fault . She did help extend his life. It isn't Celine's fault. It isn't the troops fault . They didn't understand why he wasn't with mom. They just knew he wasn't for Casi.

At 3:14 Calvin has the nerve to yell at Chico for picking him up, showing the troop he's still learned nothing in submission. Then at 3:48 it takes all the might in his body and every bit of concentration/coordination to do one hop toward Cassie when he's nearly a month old, showing the troop he is absolutely useless and takes far too long to pick up on simple tasks other baby monkeys are doing by two days old. We see baby monkeys jumping and hopping all around and even trying new foods at the same age (or younger) than Calvin is here. He repeatedly shows the troop he's the weakest link and a waste of valuable resources. His constant screeching and yelling whenever he's touched or Cassie moves and his refusal to respect his hierarchal place (dead last, pun intended) paired with his aggressive demeanor and refusal to submit (staring in adults eyes), are all reasons baby monkeys are killed on a regular basis. Calvin was corrected repeatedly and repeatedly refused to learn. He knew exactly what he was and was not supposed to do but did not care. He never imagined Cassie would throw him away and leave him with a milkless juvenile forever. He thought she owed him something, Celine's milk, which she never did. She was being gracious by sharing it with him as was Celine. He just became more and more greedy and aggressive to the point where the entire troop decided he needed to die . Even the babies would walk by and pull his hair and jump on him because he was that weak useless and despised. He respected no one so he got no respect. He tried to bully every elder he clung to and in the end the baby's bullied him. He got everything he put out, right back in the end; one way or another. Calvin embodied every trait which gets baby monkeys killed and refused to refrain from doing any of them. He knew the rules but refused to abide by them. He thought he was far more special and important to the troop than he actually was. He was nothing but a weak link that needed to be weeded out and was...
